How to import eSyllabus content from another course

Faculty are required to edit the eSyllabus page in their Canvas course. Review the information on how to import your eSyllabus content below. To learn how to edit the eSyllabus page, see How to edit your eSyllabus .

To import eSyllabus content:

  1. Visit your current Canvas course and select eSyllabus.
  2. Click the Syllabus dropdown menu.
  3. Select Import.

  1. Search by course number or leave it blank and click the Search button.
  2. Click Import to select the desired syllabus.

  1. Select the item categories you wish to import and click Import.
  2. Accept the confirmation and the selected items will be copied (in some cases, replacing) to your course.
